Built-in refrigerator repair
Built-in and integrated refrigeration is the most common call we take and the one where a wrong diagnosis costs the most. Column units, side-by-sides and under-counter drawers all fail differently, and most of what looks like a dead compressor turns out to be air distribution, defrost or a control fault.
Symptoms we're called for
- Refrigerator warm, freezer cold
- Running constantly, never cycling off
- Frost on the freezer back wall
- Water pooling under the crisper
- Loud fan or clicking from the compressor deck
- Interior fogging or condensation on seals
What the repair involves
- Sealed-system and refrigerant diagnosis
- Evaporator and condenser fan replacement
- Defrost heater, thermostat and timer service
- Control board and thermistor replacement
- Door seal replacement and hinge alignment
- Condenser cleaning and airflow correction
Before you book
Find the model and serial number if you can — on refrigeration it's usually on the interior side wall or behind the lower grille, on ranges behind the storage drawer, on dishwashers along the tub edge inside the door. A photo of that plate lets us bring the right part to the first visit instead of the second.

Should I unplug the refrigerator before you arrive?
No — leave it running unless it's leaking water onto the floor. We need to see how it behaves under load, and a unit that has been off for a day hides the fault we're looking for.
Do you carry parts on the truck?
For common failures on the platforms we service daily, yes — fans, thermistors, igniters, seals and pumps. Control boards and sealed-system components are ordered against your model and serial number.
How is built-in refrigerator repair priced?
The diagnostic is $95, waived when you approve the repair. Repairs are quoted in writing as parts plus labor before we start, and carry 90 days on parts and labor.
